Dancehall Star Makes Rounds Over Labor Day Weekend in NYC Over the Labor Day weekend, Konshens will take over New York City to perform back-to-back shows around the reggae circuit.

A lot of years passed since the release of this mixtape that includes also cuts from Konshens “Mental Maintenance” album, Dj Cali B mix is now available for stream only. Still worth your listening time since it includes a lot of past anthems of the Jamaican star for new and old fans to enjoy.

On Friday, August 31, he kicks off the festivities in Manhattan at HOT 97’s On Da Reggae Tip concert inside Hammerstein Ballroom. On Saturday, September 1, he will hit the stage at Pulse 48 in Brooklyn and then The Garage in the Bronx.  He heads to Manhattan on Sunday, September 2 for Mr. Cee’s Pre-Labor Day Extravaganza at Webster Hall and to BB Kings the same night.   

Konshens chatted with DJ Enuff about his upcoming On Da Reggae Tip Show on Hot97.com along with MTV Iggy and Mass Appeal about his whirlwind success.   

The dancehall sensation continues to make the ladies move across the globe with his smash hit “Gal A Bubble” (currently #1 for fourth week in a row on New York’s Reggae chart).
