Reggae Pop Artist Nefatari Set To Perform At Soflo Awards 2012

Nefatari Cooper, upcoming and fresh artist we’ve been following closely, is set to perform at this year edition of Soflo Awards 2012 on May 26.

The reggae pop artist has been busy performing and recording new hits non-stop, so let’s catch up with her latest achievements and music videos. 

Fresh off the success of her “Day U Mess Up” music video which was released in February, fast rising female vocalist Nefatari is gearing up to perform at the 4th annual South Florida Dancehall & Reggae Music Awards slated for Saturday May 26th at the Hollywood Central Performing Arts Center.

According to Nefatari, who has been working hard in recent times to cement her name in the Dancehall / Reggae arena, a lot of working has being done ahead of the summer.

“Well this is my 2nd time performing at the SOFLO Awards and I’m truly looking forward to be there again. Right now I have a lot of projects putting out, the first is a song called “What U Think About Me” on the High Motivation Riddim and another entitled “High Heels” on the Formula Riddim produced by “Watch D Hype”.

Outside of that TeamNefatari is still capitalizing on the success of the “Day U Mess Up” music video which is now in regular rotation on TEMPO, HYPE TV, RETV and has been aired on CVM TV and Dancehall Connection”.

Nefatari who late last month rocked the Fashion Sizzle Fashion show in New York and walked the runway with designer K. Dupont is still excited about her early 2012 achievements.

“So far I’m been having a really good year, I feel like I’m moving in the right direction and I just want to continue growing as an artist and song writer. At present “What U Think About Me” is getting rotation on a number of radio stations including Hitz 92 FM in Jamaica and 101.1FM in Florida and High Heels was recently premiered on 99Jamz with radio personality Waggy Tee”.

The 2012 SOFLO Awards show will feature performances from a host of artists including Spragga Benz, ZJ Liquid, Raine Seville, Khago, Flippa Mafia, Teflon, Kristopher, Popeye Caution & Whitey Ordaz amongst others.

The show will be hosted by none other than the Fluffy Diva Ms. Kitty and radio host Ragashanti.
