Snoop Lion Mavado & Popcaan “Lighters Up” Official Music Video

Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion was able to have Gully God Mavado and Unruly Popcaan voicing together on the single “Lighters Up”, a new unity anthem that features the Gully Boss and raising dancehall star Popcaan a talent discovered and nurtured in Vybz Kartel’s Portmore Empire.

The new single “Lighter’s Up”,  already featured here with the lyrics, and produced by Diplo’s Major Lazer will also be featured in Snoop Lion’s reggae oriented upcoming album “Reincarnated”, that it’s due to be released later on this year and will make Popcaan even more known to the mainstream audience, being “Lighters Up” one of the few collaborations that will be included in the new Snoop’s album.

Snoop Lion, featured  in this month edition of GQ magazine, talks about Reggae Music, his new album, Jamaica and weed smoking. 

Snoop launched his own documentary, shot in Jamaica, titled –Reincarnated – last year, in which traces his spiritual journey into Rastafarianism during his well documented spiritual awakening that took place after an earlier visit to Jamaica. Snoop Lion  is another name on the long list of entertainers from all over the world looking forward to Jamrock for inspiration.




Snoop’s documentary was featured at the Toronto International Film Festival this past September 7th, 2012.
