Jamaican reggae dancehall star Beenie Man, the Doctor, stopped at ONSTAGE TV with Winford Williams.
Dancehall superstar Beenie Man has been silent in recent times about the latest feuds in dancehall music: from the Bounty Killer and Tommy Lee’s situation, and silent as well on the Macka Diamond/ Lady Saw/ Spice argument.
In this interview of few days ago on the popular Jamaican talk show Onstage with Winford Williams, Beenie Man opens up on the latest dancehall beefs.
Beenie is busy promoting his new music overseas and recording, so he has no time for arguments and no matter what happened between him and the Warlord Bounty Killer in the past for D’Angel, Beenie Man says Buju Banton, Bounty Killer, Sizzla and himself are the four columns of Dancehall.
Beenie Man announced he is not going to Sting this year, but will be to Gt Extravanganza on Xmas nite.

“Bounty Killer is one of the corner stone of dancehall and the 1990s belongs to me, Bounty Killer, Capleton, and Buju Banton. The artist that came after that was Sizzla, and I think every artist that came after Sizzla should show respect to I and I. Because if we are the four column of dancehall music and you try to knock down one then the building is going to lean. It’s for me to support the Killer, but for me to support Tommy Lee as the young artist because we have to rise star we can’t kill star… so in that way where Killer take on Tommy Lee I do not support it.”
