Jamaican Reggae Star Buju Banton Moved To Mississipi Prison
Reggae singer Buju Banton is been transferred from the Pinellas County Jail in Tampa, Florida to the Adams County Correctional Center in Natchez, Mississipi.
Judge James Moody originally sentenced Buju to serve his time in Florida, however, the> Bureau of Prisons have decided to move the singer due to a shortage of beds in the Florida’s facilities.
This is the third time Buju, real name Mark Myrie, got transferred since the trial ended with a 10 years sentence that everybody is hoping will get shorter since Buju also is not allowed to record new music during his serving time for<strong charges on drug conspiracy.
His lawyer, David Markus, explains that he hopes they will transfer Buju soon back to Florida so will be easier for his family to visit him.
As Shaggy recently declared during an interview Buju Banton is an icon in the music industry, his music touched people lives and nobody ever can take this away from him.
