Cocoa Tea & Shabba @ Mighty Crown Anniversary In Japan
Last week-end in Japan was the 20th Anniversary of Mighty Crown, the biggest Japanese Sound System that is also behind the latest Reggae shows staged for helping Japan cope with the after math of tsunami and heart quakes.
What made this celebration, held at at Yokohama Reggae Festival, very special, was that this year Cocoa Tea and Shabba Ranks were both billed for the show.
Shabba Ranks didn’t play in Japan for almost 20 years and they both didn’t share stage for almost 15 years or so… both acts were acclaimed from the pubblic.
Cocoa Tea was joined by Shabba Ranks and they set the stage on fire combining some of their hits such as Pirates Anthem, Love Me, Which One She Loves holding together di stage for a good amount of time.
Shabba said there was energy enough to light up a big city.
Cocoa Tea defined the moment as wonderful. Sure is Shabba Ranks and Cocoa Tea touched with their timeless music different generations of fans in Japan they both delivered incredible performances! Big Ups!
