Party goers who expected to attend the ‘Colouring Book Party’ headlined by Vybz Kartel last Saturday in Portmore, Jamaica, were forced to stay at home with their crayons.
Police ordered organizers to postpone the event suggesting that the show is likely to attract criminal elements.
Although several tickets were sold for the party that was expected to take place at Lime Village in Portmore on Saturday, April 16 2011, organizers say tickets were refunded.
Vybz Kartel is also aspected to perform at the final of the Wray & Nephew Contender boxing series that will take place on April 27.
The show’s producers held a press conference and announced that there will be additional fights with boxers from the competition and dancehall artists Mavado, Vybz Kartel and I-Octane will be included in the form of entertainment.
Jamaica is falling in love again with one of its favorite sport, back on Prime Time Television since December on TVJ.
On the show 16 professional boxers will compete for a share of nearly two million dollars, with the winner walking away with a whopping one million dollars and the title of Jamaica’s Ultimate Middleweight Contender.
