She reminds the public she was always Vanessa Bling since she started singing and her name was rebranded to Gaza Slim but she is always been Vanessa and with everything that happened she released her latest song “Have Mercy Of Me Lord” with the video produced by OutAroad Productions more as an inspiration song, than a real Gospel.
As already reported on the pages of this site, Vanessa Bling released her latest single for her new label VB Records and she has already touched a lot of people with her new tune and her talent, opening also to a wider audience with “Have Mercy of Me Lord”.
The positive feedback on the single is already so big that an official video directed by Vanessa Saddler herself already dropped.
Pertaining to the making of the song, Vanessa Bling, real name Vanessa Sadler, said her initial attempt was to do over a Grace Thriller song, but she was advised to do an original instead.
She also said that both she and Kartel had recorded a gospel song prior to his arrest in 2011. The song happens to be a cover version of Shirley Ceasar’s Can’t Even Walk.
“I should have released a gospel song from long time. Adidja and I did one together, but it was not released. To be honest, when I go to studio to voice, I work based on the vibes I get. I was going to do a sing-over of a Grace Thriller, but then I just recorded an original ” she said.
Also on the cards is a charity venture, which she hopes will attract the interests, of her musical peers.
“Recently, I went to the country and did some charity in 9 Mile (near Bob Marley Primary and Junior high), and I plan to go back there. So I am inviting all to contribute. You can drop off donations of any kind at ZIP 103 FM or contact me via email,” she said.
