Jamaican Reggae dancehall superstar Buju Banton, real name Mark Antony Myrie, is in transit waiting to be moved to a facility in Oklahoma.
The popular reggae artist is supposed to be moved to a medium security facility in Texas and not in Mississippi, as initially reported.
His co-defendant is already being housed in the Mississippi’s facility . Buju Banton’s attorney, David Markus, indicated his intention to appeal Buju’s ten years sentence in November.
Buju’s lawyer also told the press that Buju is positive and strong and he will remain in high spirit and that he will file a successful appeal.
He added that Buju would like all his friends, family and fans to know that he ‘s hanging in there and waiting to be transferred.
