As the summer season heats up with a myriad of new music and worldwide stage shows, dancehall artist Vanessa Bling has not only taken her place in the dancehall arena, but is striving to dominate both areas.
A few days after premiering the officiali music video for her latest hard hitting dancehall single “Chosen” (100K + views in 2 weeks), produced by Markus Records, the label spearheaded by Markus Myrie, eldest son of legendary Grammy award winner Buju Banton on Dream Team Riddim, Vanessa Bling headed to the beautiful island of Tortola for a slated live performance.

Fans from all over the island came to support and sing along to Vanessa’s hit filled songs.
Known for her charismatic, fierce and sassy delivery, “Gaza Slim” as she was first introduced into the music industry by international dancehall superstar Vybz Kartel, the songstress humbled by the outpouring of love, opened her set with a prayer for Tortola, receiving overwhelming applauds from the appreciative crowd. And then… the show started.

Vanessa performed some of her classic and new tracks such as” One Man, Everything fi Hold Him, My Man, Wah Du Dem, Always, Future Guarantee, Independent Ladies, Chosen, Bye, Position“ and after an hour filled with vibes, to the screaming delights of patrons, Vanessa closed her show with “Suck P*ssy Bwoy“, a combination featuring her earliest mentor, Vybz Kartel. “Weh De real bad MAN dem AH TORTOLA DEH” exclaimed the mesmerizing Jamaican Dancehall star.
