Former Portmore Empire artist Jah Vinci, real name Kirk Rhoden, completed his first studio album titled “Ghetto Born” that will be available digitally on July 22nd, distributed by Zojak World Wide.
Jah Vinci is the second former Portmore Artist to release an album, shortly after Popcaan, that released his first album “Where We Come From”, produced by Mixpak Record last month, STREAM IT HERE, while Tommy Lee Sparta also announced his album to drop around October this year.
The album “Ghetto Born” is the result of a collaboration with Khabir Bonner of Grillaras Productions known for his recent album with Lutan Fyah,” Life of a King”, and also behind the Beenie Man & Ce’Cile single “Thug Love”.
Other names included on Jah Vinci production team are Tariq ‘Nashi’ Smith and Xavier ‘Bless X’ Prendergast.

Jah Vinci and Grillaras Productions have already worked on many projects before and they all went well, so they were both looking forward working together again.
Jah Vinci‘s album “Ghetto Born” features 13 tracks including a couple of tracks with Beenie Man and reggae legend Junior Reid.
“Ghetto Born” blends reggae, dancehall and crossover including stories of crime, poverty and hope in pure Jah Vinci‘s style. Jah Vinci is going to be in Europe very soon. Stay tuned.
