One of the brightest star of the raising Vybz Kartel’s Portmore Empire/Gaza is Jamaican recording artist Jah Vinci, real name André Kirk Rhoden.
The dancehall reggae artist, 20 years old, is gaining more and more recognition and visibility in Dancehall & Reggae music from Jamaica to the rest of the world.
Portmore Empire deejay Jah Vinci started singing back in school and recorded mostly cultural songs with 357 Records before meeting his mentor and ‘Teacha’, Vybz Kartel, real name Adidja Palmer, the founder and CEO of Portmore Empire and Adidjahiem Records.
One of his friends introduced him to Vybz Kartel and that’s where his adventure started.
Jah Vinci is an incredibly talented artist, delivering fresh and original tunes, gifted with an amazing voice and gifted with lyrics that speak to to people’s heart, some of his baddest releases are produced also under the labels of Not Nice Morris and Russian Productions.
The recent rumors about Jah Vinci leaving the Camp, following Blak Ryno‘s departure, are not true and his answer on the matter is pretty clear: “Gaza fi life!!!”.
