Jamaican Dancehall Artist Shawn Storm Latest News And Music Videos 2021

Incarcerated Jamaican recording artist Shawn Storm has a string of a new blazing music out and new music videos .

As for World Boss Vybz Kartel, last month marked a decade since Jamaican dancehall deejays Vybz Kartel and Shawn Storm have been behind bars, and, according to a post made on Shawn Siva Storm’s own Instagram account, he thinks it’s 10 years wasted, and it’s hard to disagree.

His cousin and music producer, Garfield ‘Still Yet’ Francis, spoke on his behalf with the Jamaican press regarding Siva’s post.

“When him seh 10 years wasted, him mean not seeing his daughter, mother, or him family like that,” Francis told the press.

“Even at times mi visit him, mi can see the depression on him, mi hear it inna him voice. Him waan see him mother, him waan see him daughter. Apart from that, he’s very strong and healthy cause him play football daily. You know jail is a frustrating place and if nobody nuh cater fi yuh or memba yuh, yuh a go feel lost, so at times mi understand how him feel and ensure seh him get weh him need.”

Francis  went on adding that he hasn’t visited Shawn Storm since the pandemic due to strict COVID measures, but still maintains contact.

The Jamaican deejay, whose given name is Shawn Campbell, is serving life imprisonment for the 2011 murder of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams.

One of his co-convicts, Vybz Kartel, is also serving a life sentence. Storm will be eligible for parole after serving 22 1/2 years, while Kartel will have to serve 32 1/2 years to that end. The men are appealing to the Privy Council in the United Kingdom.

“Hopefully, he’ll be free soon, likewise Vybz Kartel, a just time fi this appeal go through and get the best results out of it which is freedom,” Francis said. “Mi a tell the fans to keep strong, positive, loyal and keep streaming the songs.”

Francis started producing for Shawn Storm more than 10 years ago and has a catalogue of his unreleased recordings. His projects with Shawn Storm include the Freedom Street and Zombie Mode EPs, and an upcoming reggae project.

Francis is also promoting his “Fully Focus Riddim Mix“, which features Shawn Storm, Vybz Kartel and Gaza Tussan.
