Tommy Lee, real name Leroy Russell, is a Jamaican dancehall reggae deejay that moved his first steps in to the Jamaican music scene back in 2010 under Vybz Kartel’s Portmore Empire, debuting his first single and music video titled “Warm Dem under Kartel’s imprinting.
Since his first song everybody understood he was a different type of artist, that carried a totally new style in dancehall, dark, gothic, with crazy lyrics and vocals recorded over mad beats. His style, not understood by everybody, have heavily influenced all the new wave of young artists popular right now!
Sparta has been on the scene for more than a decade now and listeners cannot get enough of his music and videos. Every new release is collecting hundreds of thousands of views and new fans.
Tommy Lee upcoming has not been easy. The Spartan Soldier deejay had many issues with the law and the and spent several years behind bars for different reasons and in different instances, be he recently came out and has been releasing new music and various videos since raking up millions of views.
At the beginning of the year, first of the trilogy. filmed in Flankers, Montego Bay, Jamaica, the Flanker’s native released the music video for “War”, featuring Scotchie Boss. The song is paired with some strong gangsta style visuals, that were uploaded with this caption:
