Jamaican superstar Vybz Kartel, real name Adidja Palmer, has been incarcerated since the end of September 2011 and was sentenced last year to 35 years behind bars before parole for the murder of an associate, Clive “Lizard” Williams, whom body was never found.

The Jamaican deejay is to appeal his sentence together with his three co-accused.
