Few days more for the last preparations for Sting, the biggest Reggae Show on Earth, happening in Jamaica every December, on Boxing Day.
In 1984, Isaiah Laing’s love for music caused him to establish an event that would play an integral role in the history of Jamaica’s music.
This event would be known as “STING – The Greatest One Night Reggae Show on Earth”, a launching pad for many of Jamaica’s popular entertainers.
Directors Junior Heavy D Fraser and Isiah Laing say that this year Sting is catering to the fans. Laing said he has not had an easy time putting on the show every year, but he was determined to host the event, no matter what went wrong.
As he said it was not his show, it was the peoples show and it has been providing employment for many Jamaicans for the over 30 years since it has been hosted. Laing also highlighted the economic benefits the show brings to the country while speaking to the patrons at the recent event’s launch of Sting 2016 “From The Till Now” was launched at the Triple Century Sports Bar in New Kingston, Jamaica.

STING JAMWORLD PORTMORE JAMAICA DEC 26 2015 FULL SHOW
This year’s show will be special because of the return of the veterans of the Dance hall. As there will be performances from Artists like Super Beagle, Terror Fabulous, Vershon, Burro Banton, Tanto Blacks, Silver Cat and others.
With some of the biggest Jamaican artists like Buju Banton and Vybz Kartel incarcerated and Bounty Killer that decided to don’t go this year, and no talk about a clash, there’s a big question mark about Lady Sawperfonce. Since she recently converted and baptized, after J Capri Funeral, is currently still unsure if she will perform for the last time from Sting’s stage.
