Another cool B-Day Bash in the 305 area code, last week, was Rico Love 29 th Birthday celebration @ Club Play in Miami Beach Friday Dec 2.
The birthday boy, internationally known , is a Grammy-winning songwriter/producer and singer, and he invited “a couple of friends “to join him in the celebration.
Since he wrote and produced hit songs for Usher, Beyonce’, Chris Brown Kery Hilson, Miss Kelly Rowland, Fergie and many others, his guests were some of the most established of the industry.
Usher, Mary J. Blige, and Diddy host his party that went down during Art Basel week in Miami. Guests dined Italian style at the invite-only dinner at Vic & Angelo’s before heading to the after-party at Club Play. Timbaland, Cee Lo Green, Yelawolf, Maino, Irv Gotti, and his Division1 signees Cherlise and Teairra Mari, who was also celebrating her 24th birthday were part of the guests squad. Love is also the CEO of Division1, a record label which partnered with Universal Motown in 2010 and he’ s also responsible for a couple of Grammy awards with songs like Throwback , for Usher, which was a part of the 2004 Triple Grammy winning album Confessions.
Usher, Cee-Lo Green, Trina, Busta Rhymes , they also showed up and didn’t leave Club Play til late night, making it a star-studded night to remember. Shottas director Cess Silvera was also in the house and announced Shotta the series to be coming out soon.
