Portmore Empire artist Shawn Storm has been ordered release from police custody today, after being behind bars for more than 4 days.

The Jamaican reggae dancehall artist, that was arrested in relation with the alleged Vybz Kartel’s case, has been finally freed after his attorney, Michael Deals, filed an application in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court this morning in Kingston, Jamaica.

The recording artist, signed to Kartel’s Portmore Empire, turned himself in last Monday, after police went looking for him at his mother’s home this past Sunday, naming him as a person of interest but not explaining more. Shawn Storm, real name Shawn Campbell, was detained at the Constant Spring police station after being transferred from St Catherine.
