Jamaican female artist Tifa dropped her highly anticipated album, “Curry Goat & Champagne” on August 10 2018.
Dancehall diva Tifa‘s new album, paired with an artistic album cover, contains a lot of new music, featuring 18 tracks, with “JA Party”, her summer banger that has been charting at #8 on iTunes reggae charts, being one of the leading single of the album.
One of the baddest female in Jamaican dancehall music, with an international fan base, Tifa’s album “Curry Goat & Champagne” has been crafted with some of Jamaica’s greatest producers such as ZJ Liquid, Birchill, Suku, Teetimus just to mention a few that worked on Tifa’s album, a work of excellence.
Talking about “Curry Goat & Champagne” Tifa says,
“It is a melting pot of culture, touching everything from Inspirational music to Reggae to hard core Dancehall.”
Out of the 18 tracks included in her studio album, that has been in the works for quite some time, there are just two guest appearances songs on the whole album, one with Jamaican artist Assassin aka Agent Sasco and one featuring Tanto Blacks, because this is Tifa’s own album, where she is eager to showcase her talent, lyrics and vocal power, as well as versatility.
There is a bit for everybody in this 18 tracks album that includes catchy tunes full a vibes as well as energetic club bangers and also exploring an array of different sounds giving the album a more international dimension and depth.
Jamaican artist Tifa, real name Latifa Brown, proves once again she is a true leader on her own, and not just one of the most hard working female artist in Jamaican dancehall music, delivering a well rounded project, starting from the title she gave the album, to the cover to the songs in it everything is really crispy.
