What’s Up with Notnice Records
Notnice’s music production came to prominence as part of the Vybz Kartel’s led Portmore Empire, releasing riddims that have become legendary in dancehall music. Once an active member of Gaza Notnice parted ways with Vybz Kartel following a robbery in the producer music studio back in 2010 and while he expressed the outmost respect for the incarcerated Dancehall King, Notnice kept his distance from the Empire.
The producer was able to bring some of the old Gaza team back together on a song called Empire Medley and features Blak Ryno, Jah Vinci, Gaza Kym, Lisa Hyper, Doza Medicine and veteran Gaza member Sheba.
