Jamaican Dancehall superstars Adidja Palmer , aka Vybz Kartel, [GazaGeneral] and David Brooks, aka Movado [Gully God] have been listed as persons of interest by the St. Andrew North Police.
Many may not know that long time ago Kartel, the Gaza General, and Mavado, The Gully God, were friends and even had recorded together a collaborative hit song with official video that they released back in 2008, titled “Happiest Days”.
The song shells, really is one of the biggest things ever released, a collector’s item. Get it clicking on the Apple Music Banner posted at the bottom of this page.
According to a note from the police, investigators want to interview the Dancehall artists from the Gaza and the Gully on a number of recent incidents in the Division.
Reports are that top Jamaican entertainers are wanted by the police as persons of interest for incidents which apparently occurred in the Big Yard and Cassava Piece communities.
Reports say Kartel wields considerable influence in a community known as ‘Big Yard’, while Mavado hails from a nearby community of Cassava Piece and is very influential there.
This is not the first time the Jamaican police summon both stars, they were asked years ago to tune down the Gaza Gully conflict that was getting out of hand and the two deejays signed a symbolic peace.
Palmer and Brooks are to report to the Constant Spring Police Station by 3:00 pm tomorrow afternoon, so log in for updates on the reason of their visit to the police station in the upcoming days.
