However, when he appeared in court he told Resident Magistrate in charge that his lawyer was on her way, but after a very long wait the lawyer failed to appear.
The court was later informed by attorney Tom Tavares-Finson, who represents Vybz Kartel, real name Adidja Palmer, that Henry still had some issues that he needed to sort out before he can retain the services of a lawyer.
Resident Magistrate Wolfe-Reece then told Henry that she “can’t keep setting dates with a hope and a wish”, advising him to explore the option of legal aid if he is unable to afford a lawyer.
The matter was then set for this Friday for the court to be notified whether or not Henry has settled his legal representation.
Henry, Vybz Kartel and Saddler will be tried on October 27 on charges of attempting to pervert the course of justice and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
