Jamaican star Vybz Kartel, real name Adidja Palmer, in the photo with is protege Gaza Slim, was again in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate Court in Kingston, yesterday morning, with Vanessa Saddler, aka Gaza Slim and his studio engineer, Andre Henry aka Pim Pim.
Vybz Kartel, Gaza Slim and Pim Pim were scheduled to begin their conspiracy trial in relation to the Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams murder case.
The conspiracy trial was postponed again until august 29 because each of their lawyer was absent from court because their legal teams were already engaged in the Supreme Court with another matter, thus rendering their inability to make yesterday’s hearing in the conspiracy case.
Vybz Kartel, Gaza Slim and Pim Pim are charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice and perverting the course of justice in relation to the Clive’ Lizard’ Williams murder case. The charges stem from a police report that was filed by Gaza Slim, claiming that she had been robbed by Williams. The report, which Pim Pim allegedly assisted in formulating, was issued five days after Kartel’s was charged with murder in the Williams case.
