Vybz Kartel Shares New Photos From Family Day In Prison 2023

Worl’ Boss Vybz Kartel, real name Adidja Palmer, has shared new photos with his fans following a reunion with his family and his fiancé Sidem Oztürk.

This was the first visit in a long time! The incarcerated artist meet his family for the family day event last time in 2016, click here to take a trip down memory lane with Addi. This time was probably very emotional, since Kartel had a chance to also also met his grandson, Likkle Vybz’s son, for the first time and he also revealed that he has another grandchild on the way.

Jamaican prisons hold a “family day” three times a year, where, in contrast to regular visits, inmates can see their whole families, including children, which are allowed into correctional institutions just on that day, as established by the Department of Correctional Services (DCS).

Family Day is a different set up from regular visits, where 15 minutes or so is allowed. On family day activities allow for children to come see their parents and for bonding. It’s like more of a fair, in that they come and have background music and we do popcorn and hot dogs for the children while they get to see their parents.

A smiling Vybz Kartel shared a series of photos with his sons, his daughter in law, nephew & fiancé captioning them “It was a double Vybz! #VybzKartel & #LikkleVybz,” the Dancehall star’s Instagram account captioned one photo with his eldest son.

He captioned another photo with Likkle Addi writing “Almost a decade me G. One of the best days ever @likkleaddi.utg ❤️❤️🙏🏾🙏🏾”. Going on and expressing his joy meeting his first grandchild, Adidja Adiem Palmer, and the child’s mother, Britney Hearne, for the first time.

“Words can’t explain how I feel in this picture. It’s just a speechless feeling. #mygrandsonandi #historicmoment #adidja1and3 #BabyG ❤️🙏🏾 #GodistheGreatest,” he wrote.

In another post, he revealed that Hearne was pregnant with his second grandchild. “My Daughter in Law & Grand CHILDREN……!!! #1brit @britneyhearnee,” Kartel hinted.

He also captioned the photo with Sidem writing “Worried about me? Go worry about weak men. All I know is Strength. Us? She and I are Stronger than Ever Together. We Will have the Last Laugh. God is The Greatest!” replying to all the comments about his face looking different, swollen and bigger.

Vybz Kartel was diagnosed with Grave disease and two heart conditions, his physical form is not improving also for the unsanitary settings of the Jamaican prison facilities and that’s why the final appeal is getting an expedited appeal at the UK Privy Council on February 14th.
