Jamaican recording artist Vanessa Bling Aka Gaza Slim debuted her new EP “Still Standing”, produced by En-Treeg Records and OuttaSpace Entertainment.
Vanessa Bling, real name Vanessa Saddler, has been launched to stardom in Vybz Kartel’s Portmore Empire. Kartel signed Vanessa to his own label when she was very young, and built her up, releasing with her a lot of duet songs and for many years she has been a constant fixture in many singles produced by Adidjaheim Records, gaining the moniker of Vybz Kartel’s “protege”.
She was also involved in some charges, that later on where dismissed, with Pim Pim and Vybz Kartel for “attempt to pervert the court of justice”. Since being cleared of the charges she released some new music in and out and tried to clear her path confessing her love and devotion to God, and releasing some gospels.
Is of these day the debut of her new EP titled “Still Standing” that broadcasts the versatility of this female Jamaican artist that is set to become an international star following her relocation in US, to Atlanta, where she signed to Akon‘s former wife and her management music label, OuttaSpace Records.
Vanessa Bling Ep features six tracks that are an intimate look to who Gaza Slim/ Vanessa Bling turned out to be since her debut as a young girl in the Portmore Empire and who she became now, growing as an all rounded artist that can deliver a song for every palate, there no doubt Vanessa is still standing in the music business and she launches her international career.

For all the Vybz Kartel fans wondering what happened to her and Vybz Kartel since his incarceration, Vanessa is still very grateful and loyal to Vybz Kartel, that she confirms is still her favorite and number one artist, the one that put her career on the map, her mentor, but since being involved in the trial to “pervert the court of justice” with Pim Pim and Kartel back in 2011, she did not record new music for three years or so.
