Veteran Jamaican dancehall star Mavado, also known as the Gully God, real name David Brooks, has a new music single voiced off Regenerate Riddim, produced by StarzPlus Production, titled “21 Psalm”.

The Gully God holds nothing back in the song lyrics, expressing his pain all along the over three-minute-long audio. Mavado even makes mention of his son, in the song lyrics, who has been incarcerated for more than three years now and was eventually sentenced to life in prison at the young age of only 18 years of age.
As we have been reporting during the years, Mavado is currently living overseas, his freedom could be taken away from him if he returns to Jamaica, according to the entertainer himself. On top of that Mavado also recently lost his beloved mom, that passed away during this past Christmas holidays and the Jamaican superstar was again in the news recently after finding out he was defrauded out of almost $31 million by real estate attorney Jennifer Messado.
In his latest song, the former Alliance’s artist even talks about his incarcerated son by saying, “My son in a prison wah fi be free, and I wah focus on my life.”
So with all the struggles and tribulations he has been facing, his new audio talks about his pain, as expressed in one of the verses from the song, the singer said, “I want freedom, cah hold me down no more. They got me down for a long time.”
The heartfelt song will resonate with the singer’s fans across the world and even more with the ones facing struggles right now, since it is a gospel and a prayer.
