Vybz Kartel, real name Adidja Palmer, has been incarcerated since the end of September 2011 and his family has been supportive and outspoken about the situation, always supporting the theory that Vybz Kartel is innocent.

During the past trial, Vybz Kartel’s own sister testify on her brother moral stature and always during the past trial his grand mother was banned from attending the proceedings, sparking outrage among his family and fans.

Vybz Kartel and his co- accused are awaiting for their appeal trial to restart on July 7 2018. A big crowd is already aspected to gather and still unknown if the trial will be public or close doors.
