Kartel explained the concept behind the title “Numb”, the inspiration came after a conversation he had with his fiancee Sidem. She was telling him that she felt numb without him and the only time she feels whole is when she his playing Kartel’s music. That’s when the idea hit him to do an all girls song album with the title “Numb” representative of how the ladies feel without Kartel in their ears, Vybz Kartel make it known.
Kartel believes that his wide female fanbase will show him just as much, if not more love once they’ll listen to his latest work, inspired by them and done primarily for them. Vybz Kartel has always been for the ladies and vice versa so, it’s his homage to the Gaza girls because it’s dedicated only to the Ladies, their gift for the summer.

Vybz Kartel dropped a lot of new music in the past weeks from “Shootaz” featuring Masicka, “Time Heals” featuring the biggest raising star in dancehall music right now Valiant, and also “The King & The Prince” featuring another super popular Jamaican dancehall artist Skillibeng. Add to all that a slamming hit with ZJ Chrome titled “Car Man” and a new music single titled “Money Chaser”.
