Legendary NYC based hip hop super star Busta Rhymes joined forces with Jamaican recording artist Skillibeng for his new song “Bulletproof Skin” off the rapper’s new EP, The Fuse Is Lit.
The New York rap legend, of Jamaican heritage, honors his longtime friend Vybz Kartel dropping some serious new bars while a photo of the incarcerated World Boss, also known as the King of Dancehall music, flashes on the screen.
Busta has always supported Vybz Kartel, speaking out for him in several occasions, attending his trial in Jamaica and recording several hit songs with Addi.
The new Busta Rhymes and Skillibeng track comes with the official visuals co-directed by Busta Rhymes himself and Sam Lecca. In the new music video fans will enjoy Busta spitting bars on bars, mixed as usual with some Jamaican patois, displaying his unstoppable flow, while being surrounded by smiling ladies.
Busta Rhymes new tune “Bulletproof Skin” is produced by Jamaican top music producer Rvssian, that pays also homage to Kartel, playing the classic Rvssian cut by Addi, and the new single sports some serious heavy bass as well as gritty lyrics that mention to honor once again Gaza General Vybz Kartel.
Skillibeng is cementing his career with a lot of international collaborations over the past year including F.S., Nicki Minaj, Shenseea, Ice Spice, and more, and now he can also add Busta to the list of heavy weights he already recorded music with.
In the music video for “Bulletproof Skin” both artists link up sporting some serious whips, Skillibeng a Corvette while Busta shows off in a Rolls-Royce Phantom.
