Big Ups to 3 female Artists from Jamaica that I rate & respect a lot. Macka Diamond, Miss Kitty & Cherine Anderson.

These Music Queens are always representing and they will brighten any room just with their presence and music.
I had the pleasure of meeting each of them and they are not only great artists and entertainers, but smart and also empowering women – in an industry still very male oriented.

Let’s talk about Macka Diamond New Album, Miss Kitty New Book and Cherine Documentary.

Macka Diamond, real name Charmaine Munroe, never looked so good!

After one album and 3 books, also several EPs and a along string of hot music singles, Jamaican Reggae Dancehall Artist Macka Diamond is releasing a new album called ‘Don’t Disturb Mi’.

Her fist album, that came out in 2006, was called Money-O on Greensleeves Records.

The label had a short life. Now Macka Diamond is taking the task of doing her album on her own with VP Records as the distributor.

This is her first production and it will be something different. She wants to bring her career to another level and reach out even more internationally.
Right now she has the single You Like It on the popular ‘Overproof Riddim’ with Devina Burn doing very well in Jamaica and USA.

The new 14 track album will feature popular songs like Too Much Bull, Flashing Lights and Cowfoot, but it will also feature exclusive tracks like Splice Dem with Unicorn and Redemption Paradise which is hot collaboration with Tarrus Riley, Lady G, Barbee and Duane Stephenson.

For now the album is available on some music websites and will be on iTunes by November 8, get it clicking on the banners below.

The hardcopy will not be released until January, at which point the album will officially be launched. The album is already selling and it’s doing well. She is asking the fans to support the album because it’s going to be well worth it.

Macka Diamond’s new video for ‘You Like It’ will be shot in another two weeks. She is preparing for the busy Christmas season that will include shows in French Guiana and Canada.

In addition, Macka Diamond says her birthday bash in January will be held in Kingston, Mandeville and Montego Bay. Respect!
