While Vybz Kartel’s music keeps coming out there are serious concerns about his health status.
Addi has been back on the news in the past few days, when FOX5 News dedicated a segment in their news section to Vybz Kartel’s health conditions, reporting that the Jamaican dancehall superstar remains behind bars and, in a FOX 5 NY exclusive, new concerns are being raised over his wellbeing.
Lisa Evers spoke to Kartel’s attorney and his family about his health and his continuing fight for freedom since being jailed in 2011.

As his attorney reported to the press Vybz Kartel’s health as being deteriorating and getting worst in a tight cell, with no ventilation that has been defined as hot as an oven brick. Vybz Kartel’s attorney explained that a cell phone is sometimes the only way inmates have to stay in touch to their family and can be a crucial tool to keep the family relationships alive, over all after so many years behind bars and with sporadic contacts with their relatives.
