World Boss Vybz Kartel has been making big headlines in Jamaica and in the rest of the world following the exclusive Fox-5 New York interview by Lisa Evers.
The global dancehall icon and legend exclusive interview has been making a lot of noise. Aired in two parts, the interview doesn’t last more than few minutes but Gaza fans & the whole Gaza Nation worldwide can finally hear Addi‘s own voice and his side of the story.

“Yeah because I was sick for a few years, so definitely I’m recovering physically, but mentally I’ve always been in a good place because I know I’m innocent and I know I’m coming out,” he said.
As usual World Boss kept it real. During the interview the dancehall king reveals how the system has always been after him, because of the influence he has on the youths and how he was warned during his career, mentioning how he and Mavado were summoned to Jamaica’s Prime Minister house during the times of the Gaza/ Gully feud and invited to change tones or face consequences such as not being allowed to perform or travel.
Kartel speaks also about his writing process, how he stays relevant in dancehall music, how many songs he created since behind bars and how the creative process helps him stay solid and strong, a better person, while awaiting for the UK Privy Council to review his case.
Addi finds even time to laugh and crack a joke while saying “God save the Queen because she is the only one that can save me”, adding his trademark laugh.
The whole Gaza Nation has been excited to hear from World Boss in person and hear his voice telling how is it going behind bars and to find him in high spirits.
