Vybz Kartel official clothing line VK has been launched last week with an official fashion show in Kingston Jamaica.

During the official launch, attended by many industry insiders, press, and public as well as fans, Shorty Tanesha Palmer, Vybz Kartel baby mother and wife, has been interviewed by ER, the popular Jamaican TV show, and asked several questions about World Boss physical and spiritual health, how he is holding on while incarcerated, and other things.

Vybz-Kartel-Launches-New-Clothing-LineWhile Kartel is still so relevant in the streets? Because he is talented, smart and ready.

Shorty says Kartel is doing good, he’s stronger than her and she visits him every friday, and also, when asked if Kartel has been recording music in jail, she denies it and says that World Boss IS NOT RECORDING IN JAIL, but he  has already voiced and recorded millions of songs, his catalog it’s so big that he does not need to record music in jail.

This is really not a surprise for us here at missgaza.com since we already published an official statement sent to us from Adidjaheim Records, where was already established Kartel would not have voiced new songs while incarcerated.

Shortly after the sentence Kartel released another statement saying he refused to record in jail because he didn’t find it right that society wanted to make money out of his work while he is incarcerated and also as a form of protest toward the unfair trial.

It’s not all. Shorty says clearly what a lot of people and fans of both Jamaican artists have been thinking for a while now: young Alkaline must admit Vybz Kartel is his idol and inspiration.
