Born Jason Andrew Williams, in Kingston – Jamaica, Don Yute’s achievements in the music industry are many so, for now, let’s just mention that in the United States, Don Yute has recorded with multi-platinum producer Jermaine Dupri (So So Def Records), recording the RIAA certified gold selling singles “Sexiest” and “Hardcore Wuk” for So So Def Bass All Stars compilation CD part 1 and 2. 

Don Yute also worked with Lil’ Jon, Jim Johnson (Lil Wayne: Lollipop), Mr Collipark (Hurricane Chris, Soulja Boy), Lenky, Sly and RobBie, Family Man Barrett, Stephen McGregor and many more.

Lil Jon has Don Yute on the original Move Bitch track on the BIA BIA album, and Ying Yang has him on their set, Me And My Brother.

He is not one to limit himself and is known to ride any riddim, track or beat he hears with mood, tone, feeling, and appealing originality. His style is all his own, and he has a flavor and texture that is at the forefront of much of the music revolution today. He is an outstanding artist and a phenomenal talent. Don Yute distinctive vocals and unique flow put him in a class all on his own.

He quickly followed with the successful hit “Hardcore” produced by Steelie and Cleevie and “You Own The Man”.
