Watch Popcaan Interview ONStage TV With Winford Williams June 2014

Unruly Jamaican dancehall reggae artist Popcaan sat down with Winford Williams at Onstage TV in Jamaica for a interview about his album  “Where We Come From“ that will debut on itunes on June 10th , few days from today.

Winford Williams was able to have Poppi open the interview with a quick question about his opinion on the whole Kartel’s trial & sentence and Popcaan voiced his feelings of sadness about his mentor fate saying it’s a straight sad thing and still expressing some sort of shock on the final outcome when he says…

“It’s not a good thing for the music because Vybz Kartel is the main artist that really hold up the business pon a level so without Vybz Kartel things are kind of different.

So it’s all sadness all the way around because yu dont know Vybz Kartel bring out Popcaan in the world so me and them man their thing different still.

Even if soomebody pon the road they think they know Vybz Kartel…me know Vybz Kartel to a different level so”

The interviews goes on with Poppi answering questions about the international music market, staying out of troubles so to give a positive example to his kids, his upcoming album, his new music videos and the ghetto youths and they even talk about Popcaan’ Canadian cover from Luca Dipasquale and his next live show that will be at Reggae Sumfest.

Popcaan didn’t perform live in Jamaica since Reggae Sumfest last year so…a lot of people in his homeland can’t wait to see him performing live again.
