Tell us a bit about your new song, “Mi Remember,” with Chronic Law.
This track is quite special to us due to the fact that it is one of the first tracks to be recorded at our newly built studio in Port Antonio and to be released under the label.
We haven’t released any songs in quite some time so we are really anticipating getting this track to the public.
The instrumental was also made at that location unlike most of our previous projects.
This song is basically highlighting the transition period for Chronic Law between the challenging past and the bright future that is to come.

Can you describe your musical style, and how it is unique?
Hungry Lion Records basically produces Reggae & dancehall which sometimes might have a fusion of both.
We try to be as diverse as much as possible with creating our instrumentals which might be a solid One Drop or even a subtle dancehall riddim.
We’ve worked with several established musicians on most of our projects at Tuff Gong.
At the end of the day, it’s the type of message that we send out which is always positive.
What makes our style unique is our ability to exercise patience with our productions.
