Jamaican Dancehall Artist Tiana Latest News & ‘Freaky Man’ Video

Beautiful and talented Jamaican female artist Tiana won recently the Female Artiste of The Year In Kenya. 

With this latest International achievement, Tiana has proven, once again, her full value when she recently secured Female Dancehall Artist of the Year at the Kingston 10 Awards in Nairobi, Kenya.

Tiana, already dubbed the Duchess of Dancehall and the Princess of dancehall – which is also the title of her mixtape released this past summer that you can grab here, took the crown, consolidating her strong reputation in the West African country as she eclipsed superstars Tifa, Lady Saw, Ikaya and Ce’Cile for the accolade.

These achievements mark a strong start to 2013 forTiana, who is making international moves not just to be prominent sing-jay, but also a international singer. Tiana recently joined forces with Universal Music, recording artist Jesse Giddings, co-host of the pre-show for the popularAmerican talent series, X Factor.

Jesse Giddings is a popular Canadian singer and ex-VJ. He flew to Jamaica to shoot the video for his collaborative effort alongside Tiana entitled, “Back To Me”.

The visuals for “Back To Me” were shot in several different locations across eastern Jamaica, including Downtown Kingston,  St. Thomas and more. 

Giddings and Tiana also threw an after party to celebrate the success of the video, which will be unveiled in the coming weeks.

This signals a possible elevation for Tiana, as she seeks to secure the faith and support of fans in Canada and across North America as she crosses over into the pop world with the sultry voice making her a household name within Dancehall.

In addition to the video, “Back To Me” will appear on her upcoming Giddings’ album, set for release this Spring.
