Way before the Youtube Carry Ann’s “Hot Tea”, more than a decade ago Miss Gaza hosted several interviews for her column On Miss Gaza’s Couch.

Jamaican pop reggae dancehall artist Nefatari was one of the first uprising talent to join in the conversation with Miss Gaza.  Since then, she has been always busy and in a artistic crescendo, dividing her time between music, dancing, recording videos and traveling between the Caribbean and Jamaica, voicing over some great riddims.

Get to know her better via the videos below.

And yes Nefatari his her artist’s name but also her real name, which is so unique and one of the first thing that leaves an impression!

Nefatari is a very beautiful and upcoming artist that attracted my attention first when I read about her having a standing ovation at Clarendon Music Awards in Jamaica about an year ago.

She is a very nice gyal and she got  a lot of talent too! Nefatari started her career in the fashion industry, but eventually turned to her first and bigger love: music!

She achieved a lot  despite her young age and always worked hard: she is unstoppable and she on several Hot New Riddims with a lot of established  Jamaican producers and artists. She keeps doing her thing working hard and doing a lot of live shows and new tracks.

Not too long ago we sat down talking about her inspirations, herfavorite Riddims and artists, her upcoming projects and more.

Nefatari is as fresh as real as her music, she ‘s humble and positive and keeps strong links with her mother land Jamaica where she’s constantly recording new tracks or videos or performing at live shows. Meet her up and close in the the video interview below.
