Reggae legend Bunny Wailer has died. He went to Zion at the age of 73 in his homeland Jamaica.
The Jamaican Minister of Culture, Olivia Grange, just confirmed that the singer passed on Tuesday morning, at the Andrews Memorial Hospital in the Jamaican parish of St Andrew, where he was being treated.
Bunny Wailer or Jah B, as he was also known, real name was Neville O’Riley Livingston, has been spending time in the hospital since last year, following a series of strokes, the first happened last year during the month of July, when he was force to stay in the hospital for some time for a full rehabilitation.
Family members reported his health condition have been improving since then, until recent times, when his health suddenly started deteriorating again.
Bunny Wailer was the founding member of The Wailers and the last of the original members to be still alive. Born in St Ann, Nine Miles, he later on moved to Kingston, where he started his career after meeting Bob Marley and Peter Tosh, together in 1963 they formed their legendary band The Wailing Wailers…and veryone knows how the rest of the story goes.
