Independent Lady Vanessa Bling, also known as Gaza Slim, real name Vanessa Saddler, has been back Onstage TV with popular host Winford Williams to talk about her career, after facing legal troubles for involvement in the Vybz Kartel’s case and being cleared.
Last year this time Vanessa Bling aka Gaza Slim was caught up in a world-wind of controversy. This after the “enjoy myself” singer was seriously implicated in the Vybz Kartel ‘s case – a situation that had her literally on her knees begging the lord for mercy….and her prayers appeared to have been answered, for the charges against her for “Perverting the Course of Justice” were dropped in the last quarter of the year.
Upon the dismissal of these charges Vanessa promised to give her full attention to career building and God and is now assuring fans that her future is guaranteed. Those familiar with her story will recall that at the time of Bling’s getting in trouble with the law, she was still in search of career music and is Onstage to exhibit her newness.
While talking about her career’s progress and new singles, including the Cya Do It featuring I-Octane, Bling got upset when the nam of Lisa Hyper was brought in the picture by Winford and shekept repeating she was not there to analyze any artist, so Winford could not really get an answer to that question.It seems like Slim did not want to fuel or give any voice to more controversy and just wanted to be focus on the positivity of her new moniker.
