One of the most awaited Music event of the season in Jamaica, like every other year, going down during the month of February,
2016 Youth View Awards (YVA),went on as scheduled, this past Saturday, at the National Indoor Sports Centre in St Andrew, and it was a success.

Although not in site to pick up his prizes,Jamaican Z-Jock and radio personality, as well as music producer, ZJ Chrome was one of the biggest winners of the night, winning in in three categories: Favourite Producer, Favourite Party Selector, and Favourite Radio DJ.

The evening’s other multiple winners were Ishawna and Vybz Kartel, who received two Awards each.
Ishawana took the Young Hot & Hype Female category as well as the Favorite Fashion Icon Female in fine style.
Adidja Vybz Kartel Palmer, despite being stil incarcerated by more than 5 years, won Favorite Artist Male Local and Favorite Dancehall Artist. Still Worl Boss!
Between the awards, the event was highlighted by several live performances.
Headliners of the night American Pia Mia and Deejay Tanto Blacks, Devin Di Dakta, and Dexta Daps that performed one his latest dancehall song, Morning Love, and promoted his latest song Chinese Jordan, while having a pair of sneakers hanging from his neck.
