In their final installment of the Jamaican Dancehall video show Noisey Jamaica meet with Vanessa Saddler aka Gaza Slim and visit Vybz Kartel’s home turf.
Gaza Slim is a young and popular female Jamaican recording artist, discovered and signed to Vybz Kartel’s Portmore Empire.
In Noisey Jamaica Episode 10 she talks about her experience in World Boss Camp, and she is right outside the Court house, where she expresses her feelings and wishing her mentor to be soon “out a road”.
In the next segment of Noisey Jamaica Episode 10, after hearing Gaza Slim out, the cameras go back to visit Gaza City where it all started and let the Youths talk and explain how much they miss the World Boss in their community.

This was the last episode of the Noisey Jamaica video series dedicated to the Dancehall Jamaican scene, that received some critical feedback from the viewers mainly for being superficial despite the good intentions and while the project had so much potential from the start, there were some episodes that were not so well receive, like the Popcaan’s episode and others.
In this last episode many commented that Gaza Slim’s appearance is too quick and a lot of other Gaza artists and stories were forgotten.
Gaza Slim is always been loyal to her mentor Vybz Kartel, with whom she recorded several hit songs that made her popular in Jamaica.
Following Kartel’s incarceration she changed moniker becoming Vanessa Bling, before that she was the leading artist in Kartel’s music video “Children Are The Future”, where she sings her part and impersonated Kartel’s in his verse. Watch the video below.
