Vybz-Kartel-Pretty-Potion-2018

World Boss Vybz Kartel has a new music single out right now, hitting the streets hard.

“Pretty Potion,” a brand new hit from the King of the Dancehall himself!. This track has a smooth style with hints of R&B/soul, guaranteed to drive all the girls crazy! “Yeah mi love yuh style, yeah mi love yuh motion, weh yuh seh, pretty potion!” This song is the perfect ingredient for every weekend’s recipe!

Produced by his own new music imprinting Vybz Kartel Muzik and titled “Pretty Potion” the new single went viral already when the preview dropped on the internet, a couple of weeks ago, building up the wait among the fans of the legendary incarcerated Jamaican dancehall superstar.

Vybz Kartel, real name Adidja Palmer, has been pretty vocal on social media, and in the last couple of weeks he went head to head with two females celebrities in matter of bleaching the skin. One is US TV anchor woman Wendy Williams, that criticized Vybz Kartel’s son for bleaching his skin and posting photos on social medias, attacking Vybz Kartel for endorsing or allowing it. Kartel himself did not hold back calling out Williams for bleaching herself her own skin, but being hypocrite about it.

The other female to got in with Addi, is Jamaican recording reggae artist Queen Ifrica, that has been commenting about Jamaican dancehall diva Spice appearing lighter in her complexion while promoting her new music project, her new Ep called “Captured” mixtape. While the new Spice’s image left many shocked, it was just a make up stunt, to promote her new record “Black Hypocrisy”. Spice faked bleaching her skin to bring Colorism Awareness. But still a lot of Jamaican personalities commented on it and among them Queen Ifrica, that also asked to Kartel to apologies to her for some comments that go back to 2011. Back then Kartel claimed Queen Ifrica was attacking him for bleaching, but Kartel said she was doing it too. The conscious female reggae artist says she is half black and that’s just her natural skin’s color. Anyhow Addi didn’t take well Ifrica request of apologies and called her an half lizard on the gram.

Bleaching the skin is always been a controversial topic and it is possible soaps and other liquids and potions to bleach the skin will be banned in Jamaica, after the recent  scientifically discovery it is hazardous for the health since there is a chemical component in all the products that is considered very dangerous to human health and for these reason bleaching products have already being banned in Guyana.

Vybz Kartel already expressed his own opinion on matters of skin bleaching with the popular anthem “Cake Soap”, and talked about skin bleaching with Hot 97’s hosts in this throw back interview where he doesn’t hold back, click here to listen.
