Shorty Tanesha Palmer, founder and CEO of Short Boss Muzik and common law wife of incarcerated dancehall King Vybz Kartel, was at the centre of a rare interview with DJ Lava [ from Lava Sound System] via Instagram Show “Chat & Laugh”.
The result is a very laid back interview where Shorty dished out a lot of things and confirmed that her family is working on a TV series called “The Palmers” that will have a reality format.
Talking about the new reality that will center on hers and Kartel’s kids, they share three children together: Jaheim Palmer, aka Likkle Vybz, Akheel Raheim Palmer, aka Likkle Addi, and Aiko Palmer, who is known as World Boss Jr. She confirmed that the filming already begun but gave no details on when and where the show will be aired.
As most of Kartel’s fans will recall Vybz Kartel himself had his own reality show “Teacha’s Pet” airing nationally on Jamaican TV right before his arrest. The show included 13 episodes and still available for free watching clicking here.
Shorty opens up sipping on some champagne and touching different topics with DJ Lava about her life with Vybz Kartel, her label and how she went into producing music, an experience that dates back to the Portmore Empire times where she already made edits and accents to Kartel’s music.
Since forming her music label Short Boss Muzik she has been releasing music from her husband, their sons and new album called UTG Greatness is coming, Sikka Rymes, Jesse Royal, Tommy Lee, Skillibeng, Jada Kingdom, Squash and many others.
Among her latest accomplishments she co-produced the album inspired by her “To Tanesha” that dropped this past January and also Vybz Kartel’s newest studio album “Of Dons & Divas”.
She is focusing all her energies in advancing UTG careers to new heights and recently produced the Yannabella’s single from Shaneil Muir that has been creating a great buzz in the dancehall music. Watch the full interview posted below.
