No bail again and remanded again.
Vybz Kartel and four of his co-accused were remanded when they appeared in the Supreme Court today for the murder of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams, allegedly occurred on August 16, 2011,in St Andrew, over the disappearance of two illegal firearms.
Charged with Vybz Kartel for Williams’ murder are fashion designer Calvin Haye, entertainer Shawn ‘Shawn Storm’ Campbell, Andre St John, Kahira Jones and Shane Williams.
Haye was offered $1 million bail during a previous court appearance. A bail application filed on behalf of Campbell by attorney Micheal Deans, was denied. They all will return again to court on April 13.
The court was told that a forensic certificate was outstanding and transcripts of recordings of the accused men are to be served on the defense.
Yesterday Vybz Kartel’s court day started late, Neita-Robertson, one of Vybz Kartel’s lawyers, in expressing disapproval with the late start, said
“either we are operating a court or we are joking”.

Im shure the families of those who lost ther lifes would like to know who is at fault,but the way the courts have been handeling thes cases (delays,missing papper work/court docs) who can u belive any more.

The Only reason they keeping him in is that he breaks the peace. No other reason if they really had hard evidence against him. He would already be locked down for life. But no they have no proof witch Is why they keep remanding it with no bail because the dirty scum are trying to build a case. Other wise they have no leg to stand on. Now if he did do it then ok maybe he deserves it but at least bail him, give him a 5 million bail sure he can afford it the man just need to come back and make the music that he is so good at doing.
