Jamaican recording artist Teejay released his latest single, Day One, Produced by DJ Frass Records.
Producer DJ Frass thought of kicking in the New Year with the latest dancehall single, which features The Up Top Boss Teejay.
The new single sparkled some curiosity for the lyrics, and many fans started asking questions and dubbing Teejay’s new single as an Alkaline’s diss.
The music video, shot and directed in his homeland Jamaica, by Magical Studio, features the Up Top Boss linking with his crew and dropping powerful lyrics.
In his newest single Teejay keeps calling his producer Dj Frass name, almost in every line.
A former associate of Vendetta’s deejay Alkaline. DJ Frass has worked for long time with Alka, but they had a fall out and are not working together anymore.
DJ Frass pushed Alka’s career and worked with him producing his whole album “New Level Unlocked”Alkaline New Level Unlock Album Streamand several hits songs like ‘Yardie Fiesta’, ‘Mamancita‘ and many more.
While the popular duo does not work together anymore and DJ Frass denied that ‘Day One‘ is a diss song. He said :
“It is a track you and anyone can relate to. Big up my day ones, my real friends. There is no reason to hit out against any entertainer … just one friend showing love and respect to friends in dem life,” he said.
“This year officially marks my eleventh year in the music industry. Going forward, it’s not going to be normal. New millennium. The plan is to put more hard-core dancehall in the mix and push for the genre.”
Despite the producer denial fans have been speculating that Teejay’s new single s aimed at Alkaline himself, talking about loyalty and friendship.
